UNPAC is an organization of Manitoba women committed to equality and empowerment. We are a non-profit organization that supports women’s skill building to increase their success in community and workplace leadership. We follow a popular education model that is interactive and participant centered. We work to educate women on topics such as economic literacy and equality, gender budgets, leadership skills, working with decision makers and getting their voices heard. We work both in Winnipeg and throughout rural Manitoba to offer programming to women who are new to community building and to women who are already agents of change in their communities. UNPAC is active in government policy analysis on issues affecting women – including safe and affordable housing, poverty reduction, child care, access to education and training, transportation and health care. We believe that when women thrive, communities thrive.
